About
LantiBase is an original lantibiotic structure database, which contains information about the secondary and tertiary structures of the 37 lantipeptides studied. The 37 Choose this theme to customize and add content to this page. Lantibiotics of LantiBase have reviewed, annotated sequence information in UniProtKB (UniProt Consortium &The UniProt Consortium, 2015).
For each lantipeptide, the quality and validation reports of the tertiary structures are also provided. Along with the structural information, the database also provides information on the structural dynamics of the lantipeptides, in terms of the backbone RMSD, residue fluctuations, and radius of gyration, obtained from the MD simulations. LantiBase allows users to download the coordinate files of the tertiary structures in Protein Data Bank format. Separate interfaces are individually dedicated to the 37 lantibiotics , from where users will be able to download the coordinate files, the simulation trajectories, and the digital video data depicting the structural dynamics of the lantipeptides during the simulation run time for each of the 37 lantibiotics.
